Our warranty includes complimentary repairs and maintenance for:

    • Cracked or broken ring shanks
    • Bent or worn prongs

    • Loose or defective stone settings
    • Chipped or cracked gemstones (case-dependent)
  • Wear & Maintenance Services

    • Polishing and rhodium plating
    • Cleaning and inspection
    • Pearl restringing (one-time)

    • One complimentary ring resizing
    • One complimentary ring soldering
  • Maintenance Requirement

    To keep your warranty active, we recommend (or require, if you choose) professional maintenance every 6 months. This allows us to catch small issues before they become major repairs.

  • What’s Not Covered

    The warranty does not cover:

    • Lost jewelry or missing stones
    • Damage from accidents, misuse, or improper care
    • Repairs performed by another jeweler
    • Excessive wear beyond normal use

Turnaround Time

Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the work.

  • Repairs: typically 1–3 weeks
  • Custom designs: typically 3–6 weeks

We will provide a more accurate timeline during your consultation.

Pricing & Payments

After your appointment, we will provide an estimate for your repair or custom design.

  • Repair services and special orders require a 50% deposit before work begins
  • Custom design orders require a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance paid through installment plans

For custom designs, clients may choose a 3-month or 6-month payment plan. A signed agreement form is required, confirming that the balance will be paid in full within the selected timeframe.

All balances must be paid in full before pickup or shipping.

Shipping

We offer secure shipping for your convenience.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or included in your invoice.
  • We are not responsible for delays once the package is in transit.
  • Please ensure your shipping information is correct before confirming your order

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of our work:

  • All custom pieces are final sale
  • Repairs are non-refundable once completed

All items are sold as-is.

Retail purchases made through DJS’s website are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unworn and in original condition to qualify.

Conditions and exclusions

ANY warranty does not cover a complete forfeiture, disappearance, or theft that Dragonfly Jewelry Studio can offer. That is why we recommend a policy written by Jewelers Mutual Insurance because they cover these types of loss.

Diamond is the hardest natural substance, it is breakable. Therefore if diamond chips or breaks during normal wear, it is not covered under our manufacturer.  A policy from Jeweler Mutual will cover this type of accident. 

Dragonfly Jewelry Studio will not cover any diamond or gemstone purchased elsewhere and set into our jewelry in our shop. There are no warranties expressed or implied, written or oral, other than set forth herein. Unless, you’ll have to sign the waiver of the liability if Jewelers Mutual does not cover it.

Warranties

All custom jewelry includes a 2-year warranty, with a 1-year warranty on all repair services for added peace of mind.
