FAQs

What makes Dragonfly Jewelry Studio different?

We are proud to be a deaf-inclusive studio that supports and uplifts the deaf community. Dragonfly Jewelry Studio is also committed to creating real career opportunities and actively seeks to hire deaf goldsmiths as part of our growing team.

We focus on small, hands-on learning with real techniques — not just theory — in a supportive and creative environment.

Do I need to buy my own tools?

Most tools are provided during in-studio classes. For virtual students, we’ll guide you on exactly what you need.

Will I be able to make my own jewelry after the course?

Yes! Many students leave with finished pieces and the ability to continue creating on their own.

Can I get a job after certification?

Our program prepares you with the skills needed to pursue opportunities in the jewelry industry, including repair, design, and stone setting.

However, like any skilled trade, job placement depends on your dedication, practice, and local opportunities. Many students use their certification to start their own jewelry business or freelance work.
